你失眠过吗?躺在床上就是睡不着该怎么办?
今天跟大家分享一个“4-7-8”呼吸法(4-7-8 breathing exercise)!据说这个神奇的方法能让你在1分钟内就睡着哦!
这个方法的由哈佛大学的安德鲁·韦尔(Andrew Weil)医生发明,超级简单,人人都可以做。不过有个要领:
Place the tip of your tongue against the ridge of tissue just behind your upper front teeth and keep it there through the entire exercise. You will be exhaling through your mouth around your tongue; try pursing your lips slightly if this seems awkward.
在进行该呼吸法的整个过程中,要把舌头抵住上颚,也就是上排门牙后的牙床组织上。用嘴巴在舌头四周呼气,如果感觉这个动作有点难,试着把嘴唇稍稍抿起来。
然后进行这五步:
❶ Exhale completely through your mouth, making a whoosh sound.
完全用嘴呼气,发出“嘶”的声音。
❷ Close your mouth and inhale quietly through your nose to a mental count of four.
把嘴合上,静静地用鼻子吸气,在心里数到四。
❸ Hold your breath for a count of seven.
屏住呼吸,数到七。
❹ Exhale completely through your mouth, making a whoosh sound to a count of eight.
完全用嘴呼气,发出“嘶”的声音,数到八。
❺ This is one breath. Now inhale again and repeat the cycle three more times for a total of four breaths.
这就是一个呼吸过程。现在重新吸气,重复这一过程三次,一共进行四次。

韦尔医生说这一方法之所以有效,是因为:
It allows oxygen to better fill the lungs. This extra oxygen can have a relaxing effect on the parasympathetic nervous system, which promotes a state of calmness.
它让氧气更好地充满肺部,多余的氧气能让副交感神经系统放松,让人平静下来。
最后,要让这个小练习真正起作用,韦尔医生建议每天至少做两次,但每次不要超过四个循环。
